Jade Dust - Grey Skies 12" LP

Just down the road from GGT's HQ, Portland's Jade Dust released Grey Skies as a joint effort along with Council Records and Extinction Burst just as the world was trying to cope with the residual effects of a pandemic. Lyrically, the record is a meditation on missed opportunities in the political arena and unfortunate realizations in interpersonal space. Through eight songs and two classic covers, the band brings complex, uncomfortable conversation to their listeners, with an honest reflection of our time. Musically, Jade Dust takes an evolved approach to their sound—adding a dose of Naked Raygun to its Sarah Kirsch-inspired, Revolution Summer-drenched style.
