Oakland post-hardcore outfit Caged View are back with a new digital EP — Parallax Distortion — arriving September 4th via Second Engine Records.

To celebrate the release, we’ve put together a limited-edition Parallax Distortion T-shirt, available on a Gilden soft style white tee with Caged View print on front center chest and Second Engine Records logo on middle/top of back.

About the EP:

Parallax Distortion breathes new life into four tracks originally released on Caged View’s 2022 demo, newly remixed and remastered by Dave Alcan (Love Letter, Still Motions) at Sound Field Studios in Richmond, VA. “Recycled Air (Redux)” and “Desert Yard (Redux)” take things even further, with electronic elements and reimagined arrangements from Isaac Fratini of Allegiance and Killing The Dream.

The EP revisits Caged View’s earliest chapter while setting the stage for what’s next.
